Trosmic Sports has officially announced conceptual plans for Flux Halo, a next-generation indoor stadium that will transform the live entertainment and sports landscape across the GCC. Supported by multi-billion-dollar equity from Japan, Flux Halo is positioned to be one of the most technologically advanced and culturally relevant arenas in the world.
Mr. Bhardwaj, Mentor and Conceptual Founder of Trosmic Sports, stated, “The core of Trosmic Sports and Flux Halo is a bold belief that sport is our global common language and the arena will be the most eloquent representation of that language. Every moment of illuminated time in Flux Halo will represent not only athletics but also humanity’s endless journey to seek a path beyond the known.
GCC, Flux Halo is already being designated a flagship venue that could be the equivalent of proximity to some of the world's most recognized sites, such as the O2 Arena in London and Madison Square Garden in New York City. The stadium is scheduled to open around the middle of 2030, with a capacity of up to 20,000 spectators in a fully reconfigurable bowl. It will accommodate football, basketball, concert performances, esports tournaments, and large-scale conventions with a 200,000 m² column-free interior and a 75,000 m² retractable tensile roof.
It has chief creative director Kotetsu Yamamoto describe the Möbius-inspired ribbon form of the arena itself as "an architectural representation of perpetual motion," with systems that allow the configuration of the exterior with a programmable LED mesh of 50,000 m² for immersive digital light shows and real-time branding.
Drawing from the crown of Athena, which represents wisdom and guardianship of the athlete, the concept embodies the venue's desire to grow with its cultural influence. George Kunihiro, Director of Architecture & Planning, also mentioned that the arena will operate with net-zero energy using solar-harvesting LEDs, AI-enabled climate control, and recycled rainwater utilization.
"This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to play a role in the next great venue of our time," said Vaibhav Sharma, Chairman, Trosmic Sports. The project is expected to bring 10 million-plus visitors a year and have a diversified revenue stream that should ensure a robust long-term return. Equity is still open to regional and international investors (albeit the best ones are likely gone), being led by Ankur Tandon and Rohit Kumar on execution and growth strategy.
In late June, a Japanese delegation led by Yamamoto and Kunihiro will visit the UAE to get private briefings and visit sites in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh from 29th June to 7th July.
