A heartwarming video of Cristiano Ronaldo meeting different-abled Iranian Painter Fatimah Hamami has gone viral on social media platforms.
The talented girl presented her paintings to Ronaldo ahead of Al-Nassr's match against Persepolis.
Hamami is a celebrated for her exceptional artwork.
Ronaldo and his teammates are gearing up to face the Tehran-based side in their debut AFC Champions League group stage match on Tuesday night, and they've been met with an enthusiastic reception.
The Portuguese footballer also fulfilled an Iranian child's dream of meeting him during the presence of the Saudi Al Nassr team in Tehran.
He appeared in a video clip shedding tears, sparking a lot of interaction on social media platforms.
He said: “We booked a hotel room to meet Ronaldo... All the children are crying because we could not see him.”
He added, "We dream of seeing Ronaldo, I am a fan of Al Istiqlal Club, but I want Al Nassr Club to win."
Al Nassr Club published a video clip showing Ronaldo receiving the Iranian child in his room, before giving him a shirt bearing his signature. The club commented on its account on X: “Football is not just a game, but it is much bigger than that. Al Nassr team and Ronaldo embody that.”
The team players arrived in Tehran amid heavy security guards, as the presence of a person like Ronaldo is rare.
Giant banners were hung on Tehran's bridges bearing pictures of Ronaldo and reading, "Welcome," while fans rushed to try to see him.
According to pictures published by Press TV, Ronaldo was seen receiving two luxury Iranian carpets from the president of the Persepolis Club.
