Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club top Sharjah Summer Sports Programme

Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club added another feather to their cap after winning the top spot in the Sharjah Summer Sports Programme.
Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club officials were feted in a ceremony organized by the Sharjah Sports Council.
The ceremony was held at the Holy Quran Complex, which was graced by Eisa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, and Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club.
Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club bagged the honour after conducting the best camp under the Sharjah Summer Sports Programme.
Owais dedicated the accomplishment to the club athletes and their parents who participated in the summer sports programme.
He emphasized that working in accordance with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, paved the way for success.
He expressed his gratitude to the Sharjah Police General Command and the Sharjah Sports Council for their unstinting support and collaboration, which resulted in achieving the success.
Owais stressed that the early planning of the programme and its spirit-filled implementation by all club departments and joint cooperation with parents, coaches, lecturers, and the Sharjah Volunteer Center contributed to the club gaining first place in the Sharjah Summer Sports Programme.
He hailed the accomplishments made possible by the programme, including working in accordance with the objectives of sustainable development and community participation.
453 participants took part in the camp held during the Summer Sports Programme at the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club.
