The management of the Spanish club Sevilla reached an agreement with the Saudi Al Hilal officials to transfer goalkeeper Yassine Bounou.

Al-Hilal settled the deal after making an offer of 19 million euros to sign the Moroccan goalkeeper, in addition to two million euros in other additions, according to what was confirmed by the transfer expert, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Yassin Bounou, 32, agreed in principle to move to Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia with a contract that extends for three seasons, but he asked to postpone the negotiations until the end of the European Super Match, against Manchester City, on Wednesday evening.

Bounou's name was linked during the past days with the move to Bayern Munich, but the German club withdrew from the negotiations, after Al Hilal announced its desire to include the player.

Bounou went through a professional experience that spanned 11 seasons in Spanish stadiums, during which he played for Atletico Madrid, Real Zaragoza, Girona, before moving to Seville in the summer of 2019, where he won the European League championship twice.

He also caught the eye after his brilliance with the Moroccan national team in the 2022 World Cup, where he succeeded with his teammates in reaching the semi-finals, in an achievement that no African or Arab team had achieved before.
