Preparations underway to make Dibba Classic Sports Challenge a huge success

Gearing up to make the Dibba Classic Sports Challenge a memorable one, the organizing committee has been busy finalizing the arrangements.

One of the most prestigious events in the region, the Dibba Classic Sports Challenge, will take place at the Dubai World Trade Center from August 4–6.

The Dibba Classic Sports Challenge will take place in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council and the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation.

Preparations have been started since May in order to put together a competition that is distinguished and matches international standards.

Keen to make the challenge more attractive and offer more to the participants, Salem Al Suraidi, the chairman of the organizing committee, has decided to add more events in men’s and women’s categories.

Following the decision, the organizing committee has been tasked with accommodating a huge number of competitions.

Highlighting the features of the Dibba Classic Sports Challenge, Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Mutaiwee, Head of the Technical Committee, disclosed that alongside the event, fitness challenge, arm wrestling, Obstacle Course Racing, bikini fitness competition, bodybuilding, and other activities are added to the list of competitions.

Hailing the support of the Dubai Sports Council and Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, Mutaiwee said: "Efforts are underway to make the fifth edition of the championship a remarkable event packed with exciting competitions.

"With the success attained in the past four editions, the Dibba Classic Sports Challenge has successfully maintained its status as the most significant bodybuilding and fitness event in the Middle East, which is widely anticipated by top athletes from across the planet," he added.

Yaser Al Sayyid Suleiman Al Qattali, tournament director, and Ziyad Khansaheb, head of the Public Relations Committee, stressed that the organizing committee is eager to give all means of support to the competitors with regards to their participation.
