The International Federation of Body Building and Fitness (IFBB) Night of Champions will take place in Abu Dhabi from March 9–12, 2023.

The IFBB awarded the hosting rights of hosting the prestigious Night of Champions event to the UAE capital during a meeting.

Dr. Rafael Santonja, IFBB President, chaired the meeting and made the announcement after talks with Retired Colonel Abdul Karim Mohamed Saeed, Chairman of the IFBB International Academy for Bodybuilding and Fitness in the UAE and the Middle East, in the presence of Engineer Walid Abdul Karim Muhammad Saeed, general manager of the academy.

Dr. Santoga emphasized that the decision to host Night of Champions in Abu Dhabi was made following the UAE’s perfect track record of hosting major sporting events and the prominent role played by the IFBB International Academy for Bodybuilding in Dubai in developing the sport.

"Organising IFBB Night of Champions in Abu Dhabi will definitely add another feather to the UAE’s cap as the country enjoys the reputation of being the most preferred nation for hosting global events," said Retired Colonel Abdul.

"Night of Champions is one of the top events on the IFBB calendar where top athletes take part, and we look forward to making this global tournament a huge success."

He also thanked IFBB for choosing the academy to serve as the chief organizer of the competition.

“The UAE will be the first Middle Eastern country to host and organize a Night of Champions, which will feature the best athletes in the world.

"The technical and administrative details of this international event will be made public soon," said Engineer Walid.
