The star of the Egyptian national team Mohamed Salah surprised a newlywed couple during their wedding photo session in Alexandria.
The Liverpool star suddenly appeared in the photo session and delighted the couple. He posed for a photograph with them, and then ran away with his signature smile to catch up with the Egyptian team, which was in the same hotel.
The clip spread widely on Twitter showed Salah sharing the photo with the newlywed, wearing the training shirt of the Egyptian national team.
After taking the photo, Salah jokingly said, "You can download it now," amid laughter at the scene.
It is noteworthy that Mohamed Salah arrived at the Egyptian national team camp last Tuesday, in preparation for two friendly matches with Niger and Liberia, scheduled for Friday and next Tuesday, respectively.
Salah missed the last two matches of the Egyptian national team, which ended with Egypt losing to Ethiopia by two goals to nothing in the second round of Group D competitions in the 2023 African Nations Qualifiers, and against South Korea 1-4 in a friendly.
The result of the two matches led to the dismissal of Egypt national team manager Ehab Galal, and Portuguese coach Rui Vitória took over on July 12.
Egypt is preparing for the qualifiers for the African Nations Cup in Cote d'Ivoire next year, and is currently ranked fourth - last - in Group D with only three points, behind the leaders Ethiopia, second Malawi and third Guinea.
