Asian Star defeated Ocean Fair by three wickets in the final of the 20th City Diamond UAE National Day Cup 2021.
The seven-a-side tournament was held to mark the UAE’s Golden Jubilee celebrations and held at the Ocean Fair Cricket ground in Dubai Investment Park.
The event was organized by senior UAE umpire Tariq Butt and prizes were awarded by Deepak Arora of City Diamond and Freddy Sidhwa of Ocean Fair.
Batting first, Ocean Fair posted 49 runs for the loss of three wickets. In reply, Asian Star overhauled the target with five balls to spare.
