The Ajman Department of Tourism Development will host the fifth edition of Ride Ajman 2021 in collaboration with Endurance Sports Services.

In conjunction with the celebrations of the 50th UAE National Day, and the progress the sports sector has achieved during these five decades, the Ajman Department of Tourism Development will host the fifth edition of Ride Ajman 2021 in collaboration with Endurance Sports Services.
The event is part of Ajman’s strategy to promote sports and encourage the adoption of a healthy lifestyle.
The race will witness the participation of more than 600 athletes, begin from Al Zorah area on the December 3, and includes the distances of 53 km and 106 km.
Ride Ajman 2021 aims to highlight the sporting identity and touristic landmarks of Ajman.
This race reaffirms Ajman’s ability to organize all types of events and activities, and the wide expertise it enjoys in hosting and organizing entertainment, cultural, and sports events.
Success of such events has contributed in reinforcing its position on the local and global tourism map, and in increasing the confidence in the tourism services it offers to its visitors.
Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, stated that Ride Ajman 2021 is now considered as one of the important events on the UAE’s agenda of local races after achieving great success in its past editions, whether in terms of the number of participants or the public’s interest in it. “This asserts Ajman’s leading position which it has achieved by being a global touristic destination offering state-of-the-art infrastructure, and its ability to organize events at the highest level.
He added: “That the Ajman Department of Tourism Development was keen on organizing Ride Ajman 2021 due to its apparent impact in highlighting and promoting the touristic, entertainment, and sports destinations in the emirate, and encourage individuals to practice sports by offering a suitable environment to organize such events that are suitable for everyone.
The race track takes the contestants on a tour that extends throughout the emirate’s main landmarks, starting from Al Zorah to Ajman Corniche, and passing through other vital areas before wrapping up again at Al Zorah where the winners’ podium will be set.
Ride Ajman 2021 is sponsored and supported by Ajman police, Amina hospital, Basmat Baghdad Medical Center, Thumbay hospital, Happiest Nation Volunteering Team, National Emergency Response Volunteer Programme - Sanid, Sharjah Triathlon Team, and Pocari Sweat.
Events include 20 international championships that will bring the world’s top tennis players and the superstars of international cycling, among others, to the city.
The service aims to regulate the process of using bicycles on the roads of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in accordance with the highest standards of security and safety.
