Abu Dhabi Ladies Club volleyball team begins training for new season in Sharjah

The Abu Dhabi Ladies Club volleyball is taking part in a training camp to sharpen their skills for future events.

The Abu Dhabi Ladies Club volleyball team arrives in Sharjah for a training camp that will extend up until Sept.23.

Within this camp, the players will be trained during the morning as well as evening timings for them to acquire one of the latest volleyball techniques.

This delegation is supervised and directed by Fatima Al Ameri, the representative of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, who is the organiser of the camp, as the ultimate objective of establishing it is to reinforce the first team’s skills and develop their performance.

The joining of a lot of new talented team members is considered as the ultimate achievement and one of the most primary results of the continuous attentiveness and supervision of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy’s Board of Directors responsible for diverse types of sports.

As part of the constant endeavours of the Academy, a ladies’ sports camp is being held to qualify and prepare these women to high levels of fitness, all while encouraging them to play professional sports.

These training are held in a periodical and regular manner in the Abu Dhabi Ladies Sports Club by the academy, to provide direct encouragement and support to make sports an essential part of the Emirati woman’s lifestyle.

This grants Emirati women the chance to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle, in addition to promoting sportsmanship values to the public of the UAE.

This is attainable thanks to the limitless support of Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairwoman of Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy and President of the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Ladies Clubs.

This was also achievable with a specific focus on excellency elements in competition fields and enhancing strong suits of each player while providing them with suitable training, direction, and guidance that stems from a vision with a new strategic plan towards the 50 approaching years full of development and achievements.

The representative of Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, Fatima has declared that the process of choosing team members to join the camp was based on the skills, passion, and determination they possess which was manifested during previous training and preparation sessions.

Other criteria included physical related specifications. It is also worth mentioning that the camp consists of 16 players with the head team captain being Maryam Al Blooshi and the trainer being Nikki.

She continued to state that the team includes an outstanding group of promising players who are expected to provide great results during the upcoming championship.
