The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) will host Masfout Trial Run at Masfout mountains on Friday.
The race is being organized by Al Qudra Sports Management, and with the support of the Municipality and Planning Department, the General Directorate of Civil Defense Ajman, and Amina Hospital- Ajman.
The race is the first sporting activity in 2021 and being held as a part of community races launched by Ajman Tourism to reinforce Emirates position as a prominent sports and tourist destination, locally and internationally.

Open for both professionals and amateurs 18 years of age or older, the 4.5 km race includes the following four categories: Emirati- men, Emirati- women, open category- men, and open category-women.
The race is being hosted keeping every precautionary and safety measure in place including obtaining negative COVID-19 test results prior to participation, temperature checks for all participants, wearing masks and gloves during the race, and ensuring social distancing.Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, ATDD Director General, said, “We continue to host various entertainment and sports events that contribute to building more confidence in Ajman’s tourism offerings. We will be hosting more activities throughout the year as we continue to develop the emirate’s tourism sector and enhance Ajman’s position as a prominent tourist destination locally, regionally and internationally.”
Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) launched the fourth edition of Ajman Run 2019 at Al Zorah on Friday in collaboration with Al Qudra Sports Services. Participants included more than 900 male and female runners of various ages from around the UAE, representing 57 nationalities.

Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) organized the half marathon. The race was held with the support of Amina Hospitals and in collaboration with Al Qudra Sports Management, along with the support of Al Zorah Development company and Ajman Police.
Hayward, meanwhile, took the overall honours in the 10km run with a time of 47:28, finishing a minute and 37 seconds ahead of Helen Boland of Ireland (49:05), while Kahli Johnson of the UK was third overall with a time of 49:10.
