They say love knows no boundaries. The old proverb proved true for a fan watching the second One-Day International (ODI) match between Australia and India at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Sunday.

Cupid's arrow struck an Indian fan who proposed to an Australian girl.

Though they both were supporting their respective teams, the emotional gesture of the Indian fan won the heart of the Australian girl who said "yes."

The fan donning the Men in Blue jersey went down on one knee to express his love.

The couple share an intimate moment.

The girl accepted the proposal much to the amusement of the commentators and the players who enjoyed the light-hearted moment during the match.
