Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club to host race on National Sports Day

Zayed Khalifa Al Aboudi Al Zaabi, Executive Director of Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club, says The National Sports Day is a event with great positive impact at the social, sports or heritage levels.
To mark the National Sports Day, the Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club in Abu Dhabi will host a three kilometres race for different categories. The fifth edition of the National Sports Day will be held on March 5.
In line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, a day has been set to practice sports, under the theme “Emirates Unite Us.
The event will be held under the patronage of Sheikh Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club.
The winners of the race will get handsome gifts from the Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club.
Zayed Khalifa Al Aboudi Al Zaabi, Executive Director of Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club, said: “The National Sports Day is a national event with great positive impact at the social, sports or heritage levels.
“The event was based on the initiative of Sheikh Mohammad to designate one day to practice different sport activities all over the UAE.
“The race at Ghantoot Club is an event for all the staff and polo players to practice sport,” added Zaabi.
“The National Sports Day, for supporting the initiative, which has become a social and national event that implies many concepts and promotes the values of cooperation, love and peace among all community segments.”
The initiative in the UAE paves the way for people of determination, children, and seniors to practice sports activities befitting them in a simple way that brings meaningful benefits to them, besides spreading happiness and positivity amongst community members.
