Inter Globe Marine defeated Chemie Tech by 31 runs in the final of Sharjah T20 Big Bash played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

A stroke filled 131 runs with 8 fours and 11 sixes in 68 balls by Muhammad Waseem helped Inter Globe Marine reach a respectable score of 212 for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Vishnu Sukumaran (43) was also among the runs for Inter Globe Marine.

In reply, Chemie Tech managed to get 181 for 8 wickets Qaqas Ali (56) ,Dawood Ejaz (41), Balwinder Singh (25) and Muhammad Qasim 20 were the main contributors.

Tahir Noman picked 3 for 20 while Junaid Siddiqui 2 for 47 and Nadie Hassan took 2 for 45.

Meanwhile, Chieftains CC and ANIB reached final of 19th Shijana Cricket Cup.

In the first semi-final, ANIB beat Ocean Fair by 8 wickets. Batting first after winning the toss, Ocean Fair were all out for 110 in 20 overs.

Rahman Gull (31) and Ram Narayan (32) were their top scorers. ANIB achieved the target in 12.3 overs.  In another semi-final, Chieftains beat Multiplex by 7 wickets.
