Delhi Bulls name Sunny as brand ambassador amid fanfare

The re-branded Delhi Bulls, who were known as a Bengal Tigers, named Indian Bollywood diva Sunny Leone as their brand ambassador amid fanfare on Monday.

They also unveiled the jersey and anthem for the new season.

The occasion was graced by Neelesh Bhatnager, owner of the team; Anis Sajan, mentor of the team; Rizwan Sajan, chairman Danube group.

Sunny tapped her feet to the famous chart busters of the Bollywood to wow the crowd.

She also expressed her joy to be a part of the team. She said: “I am really honoured to be part of AD T10 League and Delhi Bulls in particular.

“I wish them all the best for the upcoming season and hope they can win the tournament this time around.”

Rizwan expressed his joy on signing Sunny as their brand ambassador, saying: “It is an immense pleasure to welcome Sunny on board. She will bring in class, passion and huge fan following with her.

“I am also happy to have Shoaib as our vice captain. He is a very calm and composed cricketer. It will definitely help the team in high pressure games,” he added.

Talking about changing the name of the team, Rizwan said: “I go to Delhi very often and my partner is also from The capital city of India. I fell very connected with the city,” he informed. Neelesh also sounded delighted, saying: “This is the third year in running. We have not lifted the trophy yet we played exceptionally well.

“I am confident that the new team will bring in new energy we will win the silverware,” he added.

Anis said he is hopeful of turn around in fortune and winning the silverware.

“I am very passionate about cricket and I get very sentimental when it is concerned with cricket.

“I am hoping that we will finally lay our hands on the prestigious trophy this time around,” he added.

Delhi Bulls also feted their partners, sponsors and media personnel for this contribution.

The tournament features eight teams and will begin on Nov.14.
