Pakistan’s former speed star Shoaib Akhtar is known for his blunt approach on and off the field.
As the cricket world cup 2019 is under way, his analyses on his official YouTube channel are getting the attention of his tens of thousands of fans.
His official channel has amassed over half a million follower within a couple of days.
Apart from cricket, the former fast bowler has broken his silence about the news of his love with the Indian actress Sonali Bendre.
While clearing the air over the issue the former pacer said: “I was never a fan of the Indian actress. I only watched a few of her movies. Yes, I admired her courage during her battle with the cancer. I considered her as a role model for many others in the world who are faced with difficult situations.”
Earlier, it was reported in the media that Akhtar carries the Indian actress’ photograph in his wallet.
The former pacer is among the voices who want to bring a change to the Pakistan cricket team and the entire cricketing system in Pakistan.
Akhtar also voiced on Pakistan’s performance against India and their dismal outing at the Old Trafford in Manchester wherein the India defeated Pakistan by 89 runs (DLS method) in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019 .
