Delhi has airlifted some 18,500 citizens, mostly medical students, who wished to leave the war-ravaged European nation and fled to the neighbouring countries. The last batch comprised 600 students evacuated from the besieged city of Sumy.
Russian representative Vasily Nebenzya said, “We call upon you to think about a very real biological danger to the people in European countries, which can result from an uncontrolled spread of bio agents from Ukraine."
