The Dubai Criminal Court on Sunday started hearing a case in which 3 Gulf nationals were apprehended in Al Barsha Police Station on charges of possessing 15 UAE banknotes contaminated with heroin, methamphetamine, alprazolam and pregabalin.
A Dubai Police spokesperson said, “Two British nationals were arrested for the possession of narcotics with the intent to supply. They were taken into custody and charged with possession of cannabis, pills and other items that are classified as illegal substances in the UAE.”
Official records indicate that the defendants were one of Dubai bars when a hotel inspection officer suspected their behaviours, and approached them to find out that they carried 87 drug pills.
