A gang of three Asians was imprisoned and referred to criminal court on robbery charges for stealing electric cables worth Dhs122,000, from a Dubai construction company.
Two brothers from Comoros were arrested by Dubai Police for stealing cars in Dubai. Second brother was held several days after the first one was nabbed. Both used the same modus operandi to commit their crime.
According to the operation called “Containers of Darkness,” the 14-member gang stole 83 cars, of which 38 were shipped in containers as home appliances, he said.
The student, Dulaim Bin Htel Al-Masa’ara Al-Dossary, narrated the incident to the Saudi news site that while he was at a restaurant at a fuel station on the Riyadh-Dammam road, he heard a conversation between two people about a car thief around the area.

Official records indicate that the defendant was working at the victim’s house for six years, and items were bizarrely disappearing through out that long period of time.
The Dubai Criminal Court on Wednesday looked into the case of a 24-year-old Asian security guard charged with conniving with a friend to steal Dhs48,000 and 2 cheques, from an office in the building he was guarding after he disrupted the surveillance cameras to facilitate the theft that the friend committed.
