At the onset, Sheikh Mohamed conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to King Abdullah II and the emphasised the longstanding and historic relations between the UAE and Jordan.
At the beginning of the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and the Egyptian president exchanged Ramadan greetings, and prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the people of the two countries and the rest of the Arab and Islamic world, and humanity at large, with more peace and prosperity.
Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, recently participated in the 113th meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee.
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received Nechirvan Barzani, President of Iraq's Kurdistan region, who is currently on a visit to the UAE. During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Barzani’s visit, aimed to expand cooperation and to serve the interests of both sides.
"The UAE is the first country I visited during my tour. I consider UAE my second home. Moreover, it is a global tourist destination witnessing an unprecedented boom in the field of bicycles," said Salim Saleh Al Sarifi.
Sheikh Mohammed underlined the necessity of spurring global economic growth and stemming the negative fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global sustainable development drive.
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, met on Tuesday to discuss ways to enhance the strong historical relations and collaboration between their countries.
