An Asian maid, 45, was arrested and referred to the criminal court for stealing gold jewellery and cash worth around Dhs100,000 from her employer.
Official records indicate that the victim was heading out of a grocery shop and walking down the street, when he was suddenly interrupted by a vehicle on the road, and a gang of seven Asians got out of the car and attacked him.

The details of the case date back to last March, when a salesman alerted the police about a robbery at his workplace.
