The retrieval of bodies from a building collapse in Cambodia continued on Monday, as the death toll rose to 24 with no further survivors expected to be found under the debris of the seven-storey Chinese-owned construction site.
A Cambodian court charged seven people on Tuesday, including five Chinese nationals, with involuntary manslaughter and conspiracy after 28 people died in a collapsed building on the weekend.

The family stated that the boy somehow managed to climb a chair and get close to the window. While looking down the boy lost his balance and fell off the building and died on spot.
Passerby said they saw the boy lying unconscious at the site and immediately informed the ambulance and police.
The girl’s father is in India at the moment and was expected to arrive in the UAE for tomorrow’s funeral.
The deceased tried to photograph herself standing on a chair which she put on the edge of the balcony barrier of the apartment on the 17th floor.
The 77,000 sq. ft property can accommodate upto 400 people and it has undergone all necessary maintenance to ensure the facilities meet the required health and safety standards.
