The festival attracted a notable turnout from diverse nationalities and age groups who enjoyed numerous entertainment activities, creative workshops, live musical performances, and engaging competitions.
Visitors to the permanent cinema, which has a capacity of 150 vehicles, will be allocated specific parking spaces, depending on the size of their car, and will be able to access the sound of the movie via FM radio.
Sharjah Media City (Shams) organised a ‘Shams Media Gathering’ at its headquarters on Thursday, in collaboration with Sharjah Press Club and with representatives of several major media outlets from Sharjah and the UAE taking part.
The programme witnessed dozens of intensive workshops and meetings with elite media personalities and decision-makers in the region, and field visits to media institutions, including the Expo 2020 Media Centre.

Sharjah Media City (Shams) will participate in the Gitex Technology Week 2019 which will be held from 6th to 10th October 2019 at Dubai World Trade Centre. Shams will be demonstrating and introducing a wide range of their business activities and exhibiting several of its projects, during the five-day event.
Also present during the inauguration were Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council.
