Filipinos in the UAE may again secure appointments for consular services which include their electronic passports concerns from the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi (AUHPE) and the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai (PCGDXB).
The new design is more safe and has new smart digital features. The existing passports and ID cards will be replaced gradually.
“The positive diplomacy of the UAE contributed to strengthening position of its passport,” the Arton said.
At least 68,000 Filipinos in the UAE and Saudi Arabia have so far availed of and benefited from the 2018 decision of Manila’s Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to outsource its electronic passport renewal services.
