SEHA's Ambulatory Healthcare Services announced on Tuesday the launch of laser-based DPI testing (blood test) for people wanting to enter or renter Abu Dhabi at selected drive-through screening centres.
The Department of Health Abu Dhabi in collaboration with G42 Healthcare and Abu Dhabi Health Services (SEHA) has announced the opening of a new purpose-built, walk-in registration, screening and testing facility at ADNEC for volunteers who want to participate in the world’s first clinical Phase III trial of an inactivated vaccine to combat COVID-19.
The ministry has cooperated with the Fujairah Government in launching these centres and supplied them with the latest equipment, technologies and qualified medical, nursing and administrative cadres from SEHA.
The Abu Dhabi media office said, “Tackling global challenges through public-private partnerships, the Abu Dhabi-led “Hope Consortium” has been launched to enable the global distribution of 18 billion COVID-19 vaccines by the end of 2021."

These rapid PCR tests are available in: COVID-19 Prime Assessment Centre in Madinat Zayed, as well as the SEHA COVID-19 Drive-Through Services Centres in Madinat Zayed, Gayathi, Delma, Liwa and Marfa.
The three-day event will be held virtually and aims to advance the nursing profession while promoting the wellbeing of nurses.
