The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF), a Sharjah-based global humanitarian charity dedicated to helping refugees and people in need worldwide, has launched a zakat donation campaign, ‘Create a Sustainable Impact with Your Zakat’, to help alleviate the suffering of millions of Syrian children, Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh and Palestinians in Gaza.
The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF) has renewed its commitment to helping refugees – which includes internally displaced persons (IDPs) and returnees – in Syria as well as those at the Zaatari Camp in Jordan with a financial grant of Dhs2.6 million for two projects being implemented by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
The three-month educational project reached primary and secondary school goers across five Nigerian states of Abuja, Kaduna, Kano, Borno and Adamawa.
