The Abu Dhabi Police have honoured an Asian man for his honesty, integrity and co-operation with the police. The man had found a sum of money and rushed to hand it over to the police station.
Father of a recovered addict young man “Yousef” thanked and appreciated the Abu Dhabi Police for their efforts in helping his son to recover from drug abuse through the "Chance for Hope” initiative launched by the Anti-Narcotics Directorate.
According to Article (32) of UAE traffic rules, motorists will get a fine of Dhs 800 and 4 black points for using phones while being on roads, which could lead to the driver’s distraction and cause traffic accidents.
The police said such reckless behaviour of the driver is dangerous for everyone. The motorists not only is breaking the traffic law, but also preparing the ground for a major accident.
Abu Dhabi Police confirmed that anti narcotics force would always be in the lookout for anyone who seeks to undermine the security of the society.
The police said that a fine of Dhs10,000 for the organiser of the gathering and each guest will be fined Dhs5,000.

Abu Dhabi Police called on drivers not to hide their licence plate data in any way, such as by carrying bicycles, or other items with which it is impossible to monitor plate numbers or distinguish the category and source.
The Department of Economic Development (DED) in Abu Dhabi said, “In order to fight off commercial counterfeits across Abu Dhabi, ADDED ran a field inspection campaign with the cooperation of the Abu Dhabi Police, who raided a factory producing counterfeit hand sanitisers bearing the trademark of a global brand and seized all of its contents.”
