With the rising cases of coronavirus in the India, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exams for Class 10 have been cancelled and the exams for Class 12 postponed.
According to the datesheet, Physics paper of class 12 will be held on July 4 and the paper of Chemistry on July 6. These exams are only for the students of north east Delhi.
"All ongoing examinations of the board for classes 10 and 12, being held in examination centres in India and abroad, and scheduled between 19.03.2020 to 31.03.2020 (both dates inclusive), shall be rescheduled after 31st March, 2020," a statement by CBSE read.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will now be releasing the complete datesheet for the remaining board examinations of class 10 and class 12 on Monday.
The CBSE said that there are very few students of Class 12, mainly from Delhi, who have appeared in the examinations in only one or two subjects.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, announced results for the class 12th exams on Monday after much delay and uncertainty. Most of the schools responded positively as the results were well up to their expectation. However, many students were not satisfied as examination was not conducted for a few subjects due to COVID-19 pandemic and marks were allotted as per the new scheme.
Students from the CBSE curriculum schools in the UAE have once again achieved outstanding results in the All India Secondary School (Class X) Examination held in March this year.
The Indian High School in Dubai has announced that it will remain closed from Thursday as a precautionary measure.
