With the rising cases of coronavirus in the India, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exams for Class 10 have been cancelled and the exams for Class 12 postponed.
According to the datesheet, Physics paper of class 12 will be held on July 4 and the paper of Chemistry on July 6. These exams are only for the students of north east Delhi.
"All ongoing examinations of the board for classes 10 and 12, being held in examination centres in India and abroad, and scheduled between 19.03.2020 to 31.03.2020 (both dates inclusive), shall be rescheduled after 31st March, 2020," a statement by CBSE read.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will now be releasing the complete datesheet for the remaining board examinations of class 10 and class 12 on Monday.
The CBSE said that there are very few students of Class 12, mainly from Delhi, who have appeared in the examinations in only one or two subjects.

However, many students were not satisfied as examination was not conducted for a few subjects due to COVID-19 pandemic and marks were allotted as per the new scheme.

In view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID-19 and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders, it was decided that Class XII Board Exams would not be held this year.
