Pakistan's top court set May 2 for Musharraf to appear before the special tribunal otherwise he will lose the right of defence. An absconder has no rights to avail, it said.
The high treason trial of the former leader for clamping the state of emergency on November 3, 2007, had been pending since December 2013.
The court directs law enforcers to apprehend Musharraf to ensure the death sentence is carried out, but if found dead beforehand, "his corpse (should) be dragged to D-Chowk, Islamabad and be hanged for three days.
'We can give Musharraf fast track citizenship since he is from Daryaganj and suffering persecution. All self-acknowledged descendants of Hindus are qualified in a new CAA to come.'
An inquiry conducted by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Nov 3, 2007 state of emergency imposed by Pervez Musharraf as the chief of the army staff, which led to the institution of high treason case against him,
"It was the opinion of the institution and its leadership that Pervez Musharraf may return to the country in view of his poor health if the family so desires," Major General Babar Iftikhar said.

The news of the death of Pakistan's former military ruler Pervez Musharraf was run several media outlets in India claiming that the leader died in Dubai on Friday.
Shazia Siraj, a spokeswoman for the Pakistani Consulate in Dubai, confirmed his death and said diplomats were providing support to his family.
