The Emirates will operate its flights to Mauritius on Thursdays and Saturdays. The airline flight will depart from Dubai at 2:35hrs and arrive in Mauritius at 9:10hrs local time. The return flight will operate on Fridays and Sundays.
They were carrying a special travel permit provided by Dubai Health Authority for the group after Aster DM Healthcare approached the health body for permission to bring the frontliners to the UAE.
The flights were supposed to operate from June 24, but the suspension was extended till July 6. Now the GCAA sates that it will be remain till July 21, and would issues statement based on the latest developments.
The Airlines on its website said that according to government directives, it won’t be carrying passengers from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka until July 21, 2021.
The Abu Dhabi-based airline Etihad Airways has extended its flight suspension from India until Aug.2.Etihad Help desk made the statement on Twitter.
Several passengers have asked the Dubai-based airline to clarify the flight resumption dates. A passenger from Pakistan, named Ceher, asked the airline about flights to Dubai.
The curbs do not tamper with cargo operations and flights specifically approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Some airlines are offering a connecting flight to Dubai, such as an Air India flight from Delhi would take a traveller to Frankfurt, from there a Lufthansa flight would bring the traveller to Dubai.
Passengers must have received a negative test result for a PCR test taken within 48 hours before departure. The UAE citizens are exempted.
