The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has announced that the Eid Al Fitr holiday for federal entities in the UAE will begin on Friday, 29th Ramadan (corresponding to 22nd May) until 3rd Shawwal 1441 H, which is yet to be declared.
Up to 1100 purchase vouchers from several commercial centers in Shabwa have been handed out by ERC teams among the targeted beneficiaries, including orphans, families of children with special needs and indigent households so that they can share the joy of Eid with others.

"All mosques, however, will declare Takbeerat Al Aid (Eid chants) through their microphones 10 minutes prior to the prayer to instill feelings of joy and happiness among people," he added.
Eid Takbeer will be broadcast after the Fajer prayer for an hour before sunrise on the first day of Eid from the mosques’ minarets.
Eid prayer is made of two rak’ahs (bows) but it starts with seven Takbeers (saying Allah Akbar) in the first Rak'ah and six in the second.

"Ramadan's Taraweeh (evening) prayer can be performed at home if it cannot be performed at mosques due to the preventive measures taken to fight the spread of coronavirus," he said in response to a question, adding that the same applies for Eid prayers, according to the paper.
