In line with the directives of H.H. Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council, the Sharjah Executive Council, SEC issued a decision to extend the period of suspension of all social and sporting events, celebrations in wedding halls, event halls, hotels, and government and community facilities until the end of June, as part of precautionary measures to prevent the coronavirus.
Singer Armaan Malik also shared the news of his temporary break from social media. He wrote on the verified Twitter account: "Going off social media for a bit. love you guys a lot, speak soon."
The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), said that the letter E must be visible in the Al Hosn mobile application, and all precautionary and preventive measures must be taken into account in organizing these events, such as wearing a mask, leaving a safe distance and physical distancing.
All the attendees either should be fully vaccinated or they have to present the green pass system of Al Hosn App. The total duration of any event should not exceed four hours.
The mosque was visited by many high-level delegations, and the number of delegation members from around the world received by the mosque was 2,452, who included presidents of states, ministers of foreign affairs, other top officials from October 2021 to the end of March 2022.
