Expatriates living in the UAE were elated as their family members, colleagues, friends stuck in other countries are now able to return as the UAE has lifted restriction on incoming flights from Monday onwards.

As of Sunday, the Authority will start receiving applications for renewal of ID cards and visas applications that expired during March and April. For applications that expired in in May, it will begin accepting them on Aug.8, 2020.
The concerned persons need to send an application, including details of their passport, local contact number, email address, visa copy with supporting documents to ‘email@example.com’ for Abu Dhabi cases and to ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’ for Dubai and Northern Emirates Cases.
The UAE government has permitted entry into the UAE, for which one has to have a stamped resident permit on the passport.
The ICA explained that the website "smartservices.ica.gov.ae" which has been allocated for issuing resident entry permits witnessed great pressure immediately after the announcement of the initiative from those who were willing to return to the UAE.
