Sheikh Sultan meet a number of families of the pioneering Quran reciters, at the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah and also inaugurates Al Bararah Mosque located in Al Mahatta area in Sharjah.

In a speech he made at the ceremony, Sheikh Sultan said since the foundation stone was laid for the Academy, efforts had been made in parallel in the electronic Maqari'a, with recitations across the Ten Authentic Qira'at (readings).
The artifacts date back to the Umayyad, Mamluk, Timurid, Safavid and Ottoman states and to India, Turkey, China, Iran, North Africa, Morocco and Andalusia.
These manuscripts are considered among the valuable archaeological treasures that are added to the holdings of the Holy Quran Academy.
Highlighting the Academy’s latest projects aiming to achieve its lofty visions, Al Tunaiji said that this year witnessed the launch of two long-awaited projects for the Quranic library: the Encyclopaedia of Rhetorical Interpretation of the Holy Quran.
