The Dubai Public Prosecution referred to the Criminal Court on Tuesday a 35-year-old Arab suspect who seized more than Dhs1.4m from a GCC national after deceiving him through falsifying an official report attributed to a government body.
The victim testified that months after the robbery, he was receiving several text messages of phone bills worth Dhs7,000, and fines for traffic violations which he had not committed.
The defendant took the car for about 3 months and the amount reached to Dhs75,000, while she paid only 45,000 of it and began to stall paying the rest of the money.
