Celebrated artist and a long-term UAE resident Akbar Saheb was awarded the coveted 10 year Golden Visa for his outstanding creative contribution towards the country. Saheb has created more than 1,000 works of art.

Cash-strapped Sri Lanka announced on Tuesday it would sell long-term visas to attract desperately needed foreign currency after the island nation ran out of dollars to pay even for food and fuel.
The government clarified that if a person has an entry permit or a visa issued by Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, UAQ, RAK or Fujairah, he can check its validity, issuance and expiry date through the eChannel platform of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Security ports.

RTA said on Twitter, “Did you get the Golden Visa & want to get a driving license in #Dubai? Present your previous driving license approved in your country & issue a new one from RTA at the driving institutes after passing the knowledge & road tests without needed training.”
Among those receiving the 10-year visas alongside Salman Khan are Indian superstars Divya Kumar, Genelia Deshmukh, Riteish Deshmukh, Bhushan Kumar, Anees Bazmee and Andre Timmins.
