In light of its humanitarian message based on the directives of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the SCI was resolved to adopt Sabah’s case, relying on the support of philanthropists.
The place of worship can accommodate around 515 worshippers, including 65 women. It is located along Al Dhaid Road.
Pursuant to the directives of Sheikh Sultan, the Directorate of Human Resources, in co-ordination and co-operation with all government departments, authorities and institutions in the emirate employed 73 job seekers in January and February.
Earlier, Dr Sheikh Sultan directed the Sharjah Department of Human Resources to employ 1,000 citizens during the current year (2021) in the cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, with a budget estimated at Dhs300 million.
Sheikh Sultan meet a number of families of the pioneering Quran reciters, at the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah and also inaugurates Al Bararah Mosque located in Al Mahatta area in Sharjah.
The decision comes in implementation of the kind directives of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Eng. Hind Al Hashemi, Director of the General Services Department at the Sharjah Department of Public Works pointed out that this project will contribute towards creating an attractive environment for investment and a place that encourages work and living.
Ruler of Sharjah visited the various sections of the academy concerned with Quranic studies and research with the aim of supporting researchers and developing their skills.
One caller from that area said, during a telephone conversation, “There are a large number of workers living in the neighbourhood in the Qadisiyah area, which is designated for families, however workers spread among the buildings and dwellings, in a way that poses a threat to the families residing in there.
