The news of the National Centre of Meteorology’s rain forecast has spread smiles across the faces of millions of people in the UAE, lifting their spirits even before the rain arrives (“UAE to see rain, dusty winds and fog in parts of the country this week,” Oct.19, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, the weather ranges between clear and partly cloudy with high humidity in the morning in some coastal and inland areas, while fog or light for are likely to form, conditions that warrant caution while driving, it said.

I am confident that the forecast will prove accurate in the coming days. Moderate rainfall brings a refreshing change, uplifts people’s moods, and fills the atmosphere with happiness and optimism.

As the winter season approaches, people in the UAE are embracing the festive spirit and looking forward to around six months of cooler weather.

The UAE is one of the few countries that hosts a variety of festivals during the winter season. The pleasant weather and festive atmosphere attract millions of travellers from around the world, who visit the country to enjoy its celebrations and spend quality time with their families and friends.
