Heavy rain

People in Thailand should pay close attention to the instructions issued by the Bangkok authorities, who have declared a flood disaster across parts of the Thai capital. Residents should cooperate fully with the authorities and move to safer areas if advised to do so.

Almost 48 hours of heavy rain have left canals overflowing, roads submerged and residents wading through deep water, wreaking havoc across Thailand. The situation has caused serious disruption in several areas, particularly in Bangkok, where residents are facing severe flooding and difficult conditions.

Hats off to the Bangkok authorities and emergency workers who are working tirelessly to protect people and provide assistance during this difficult situation. The relentless rainfall has left large parts of the city almost underwater, creating serious challenges for residents and emergency services.

I hope the situation improves soon and that everyone remains safe. The authorities and the public must continue working together to protect precious human lives and reduce the impact of the flooding.
