Write with honesty

The Diana fever has not come to an end, despite Lady Diana having passed away more than 29 years ago in an unfortunate road accident (“Earl Spencer's Princess Diana book to be edited and reprinted after Piers Morgan's legal threat,” Sept.23, Gulf Today website).

Lady Diana, now famously known as the “People’s Princess,” always remains the talk of the town around the world. I think it is a good decision by Earl Spencer that his latest memoir, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, will be edited and reprinted after Piers Morgan threatened legal action against him over an error in his memoir about Diana, Princess of Wales.

People all over the world have a special affection for Lady Diana, so it is very important for those who want to write about her to do so with honesty and responsibility, rather than simply for the sake of earning money from their books.
