The fake accomodation bookings for the UK Prime Minister's house, 10 Downing street, seems like a fun prank that shows the lack of checking on many sites but it could be weaponised.
The real problem is many such sites are open to pranks, scams, and even malicious actions. Too many people are being bullied or scammed because anyone can easily use it 'anonymously' and there is little redress. The bullying of young people could be reduced if the poster was known.
If you are lucky enough to spend a week at no.10 could you please remember to feed Larry the cat?
