Sad episode

The Russian strike near Kyiv, which killed 37 people, reportedly one of the year’s deadliest attacks, made the world sad (“Russian strike near Kyiv kills 37, in one of the year’s deadliest attacks,” Aug.29, Gulf Today website).

The Russia-Ukraine war has produced hatred, the loss of precious lives, and economic disaster for both countries. The whole world is also economically affected by the deadly war between Russia and Ukraine.

There is no doubt that Russia is a big military power in the world, but at the same time, Ukraine has been fighting Russia with its Western allies for the last four years.

The world should play its vital role in bringing an end to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. In the world, there’s nothing that can’t be achieved. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Meaningful dialogue is the only way to get the deadly dispute between the warring countries resolved.

The world is going through its toughest time. A number of wars in different parts of the world have claimed thousands of innocent lives. I hope the sense of peace will prevail between the warring countries. They should adopt the way of negotiations rather than using force against each other.
