Colour me green

Donald Trump was going to “drain the swamp” but that didn’t work too well with the green Lincoln reflecting pool. Maybe Lincoln had turned green in anger at was being done to his memorial pool or Shrek brought all of his family.
The latest oddity in this enterprise is using National Guards to guard this algae-filled swamp. Many military uniforms are green so they should blend in well.
Sometimes I think politicians don’t live in the real world but rather a swamp, now green, of their own making. Oh well, we voted for them.
