It’s so confusing that people talk about the present weather, saying it’s so hot. Some say yesterday was hotter than today, and the debate about the hot weather continues until the end of the summer season (“Rain likely for three days from Tuesday in parts of UAE,” June21, Gulf Today website).
Despite the fact that people have enjoyed more than six months of super cool weather and a few months of winter as well in the United Arab Emirates, they don’t stop complaining about the hot weather.
According to the report, rain is expected on Tuesday afternoon in some western coastal areas and fog or light fog is likely to form with a drop in temperatures, especially in the west, on Thursday, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
My point is that the summer season means hot weather, which will stay for a few months and then go away. There is no doubt that, in summer, the days are hot because of the scorching sun and heatwaves, but when it rains in summer, after a rainy spell, a few days remain comparatively less warm and humid.
Anyway, it’s also very important to realise that we enjoy all the beautiful weather seasons of the year in the United Arab Emirates in their true spirit, and we should enjoy the summer season in the same way too.
