Fairy tale is over

In the fairy story world of Cinderella the special gift was the glass footwear. In the real world, at the meeting of Marco Rubio and the Pope, the special gift was the glass football.

Although there was some shared symbology, in the Cinderella story they all lived happily ever after, it’s unlikely Rubio’s crew at the White House are heading for such a positive outcome. Does the president and his team live in the real world?
