The current conflicts are principally in the Middle East. Yet, even in Asian countries like India, it is a melancholy situation. Small tea shops have stopped operating, due to shortage of cooking has. Restaurants are closing down.
Even top-class restaurants are compressing their menus to a few main dishes. Principally, these are items which do not require much gas for cooking. Bachelors and students who depend on restaurants for their meals are worried and suffering. There are media reports of fuel surcharges, queues, supply chain problems for fuel, in countries like Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc.
Now, within a fortnight of the current conflict, we are rationing cooking gas in India. We live in an inter-dependent world. Hence, we hope that peace will return soon to the region, so that we can live our lives, without bring worried about our daily necessities.
Peace will also help to preserve human lives and properties in the region and the world.
