I tremble at watching the news with what is going on latest and staying indoors makes me reminisce about the time when the world was hit by Covid. The world today watches in grave concern as the atrocious conflict between Israel and Iran intensifies into a confrontation with broad and deep consequences for people everywhere.
What began as long-standing tensions over security, nuclear ambitions, regional influence and mutual mistrust has now opened a dangerous chapter that affects us far beyond the Middle East. Hearty thanks though to the UAE authorities for sending us Emergency Alerts to stay indoors for our safety.
What the world urgently needs is not further escalation, but earnest efforts toward dialogue, restraint and conflict resolution. Peace is not merely an idealistic notion, it is the foundation upon which families thrive, societies prosper and businesses continue to invest in futures they can count on. The global community must encourage and support diplomatic avenues that protect civilians, uphold international law, and prevent further destabilization. Only through determined pursuit of peace can we ensure that the tragedies of war do not become the lasting legacy of our time. Our shared humanity and collective well-being depend on it. Stay safe.
