There was a time when searching for answers meant flipping through books, guides, drafting reports meant long hours of structuring thoughts, and writing emails required careful wording from scratch. Today, in a matter of seconds, Artificial Intelligence can draft a proposal, compose a story, summarise a report, or refine an email.
Tools like ChatGPT have seamlessly woven themselves into our daily routines, from classrooms and offices to creative studios and living rooms. For anything and everything, AI is almost there for us. We need a speech we ask AI, tough deadlines we ask AI, to even carry out a simple maths the AI is right with us. What if AI wasn’t there?
Even creative processes once considered deeply personal and uniquely human are now being assisted by algorithms trained on vast pools of knowledge. Solving concerns and approach to tasks is undeniably shifting. Our thinking styles are evolving. Instead of memorising information, we now focus on accessing it.
Workplaces have adapted accordingly and productivity expectations have changed. Multitasking is easier. Communication is quicker. Ideas move faster from concept to execution. In many ways, technology has empowered us to do more in less time. This reflection is not aimed at any individual. It is simply a recognition of how technology is influencing all of us collectively.
