Congratulations to Elena Rybakina, who delivered a thunderous display to dismantle the firm favourite, Aryna Sabalenka, to win her maiden Australian Open title by defeating the world No.1 player in 3 hard-fought sets. It was a real seesaw battle right from the beginning. However, the red-hot Rybakina trumped Sabalenka to reign at the Australian Open.

It was really a tough battle till the last point. Hope to see a similar tussle, during the men’s finals, between the GOAT Novak Djokovic vs Carlos Alcaraz, the No.1 player. No doubt, Alcaraz is after his maiden Australian Open, but Djokovic is playing to not only improve his Australian title to 11 but also create a new record of 25 Grand Slam titles, in the history of lawn tennis at the Melbourne Australian Open.
