These days, many youngsters are not marrying due to the demands of their careers or the fear that they may not be able to make their marriages work. Yet most marriages do work well, if the two partners respect each other as individuals and accept them with their flaws.
Sometimes, simple good manners can save a marriage and strengthen it. The partners can also develop a sense of humour and laugh together, instead of making every disagreement a make or break situation.
A marriage works if the couple has some common interest or hobby, even if it be managing a business together. It fosters bonding. When two people live together, there are always some differences and arguments.
Here, a very basic rule applies, which is, win a friend not an argument. Again, it is not necessary to go out every day or weekend to a restaurant or a mall. Sometimes, just being home together and sharing a meal or a movie can be delightful.
